Quarterly Donation raised $30,500
With every meeting, we learn about new opportunities to be involved, hear from an organization we helped and have an opportunity to impact a different group doing the heavy lifting for others in our community.
Every time we meet, it results in a tough decision to make and a close vote to finalize the decision. We are directing the collective pool of funds to Full Spectrum Studio (FSS). Several families matched significant funds to the other two groups as well.
Meeting each three months, we collect funds for distribution during the entire period. The majority of the donations are made prior to the meeting with the $100 pledge. Several donations are made during the quarter of different amounts to all three charities. This resulted in over $30,500 being raised for the local groups.
We will schedule a visit to FSS to present our check and capture a photo in the next couple of months. It will be an opportunity to meet artist, see their work and visualize how they help others.
