Hilton Head Island Area
This section list the charities which were selected by the Men & Women Who Care of Hilton Head based on needs presented to the group for the island. At each meeting, we agree to donate the entire pool to one organization then men make additional donations when possible.
100MWC Hilton Head presents first award. The group voted to make a one time donation of $8,300 to Volunteers in Medicine. VIM agreed to meet a few members where the concept started – around the fire pit at the Spanish Wells Club.
Chet Williams nominated a local food pantry provided by St. James Baptist Church providing food for anyone that is hungry on the island.

Ted Weitzner and David Martin work with and have nominated the HHHS Booster club. The Booster Club recognizes that participation in high school athletics benefits everyone, and the Booster Club promotes opportunities to build spirit and strengthen relationships among all involved: the student body, Hilton Head Island High School staff, parents and the community.
