Organizations awarded a quarterly distribution
The Early Grade Reading program focuses on bringing tutors to the schools of Beaufort and Jasper Counties. We learn to read from 1st to 4th Grade and read to learn from then on. This program provides books and supplies to the volunteer tutors to aid in developing a reading culture in the young of our community.

Selected for Award April 6th, 2023
About twenty members gathered to present the over-size check to the representative of the Programs for Exceptional People at the Spanish Wells Club. PEP will be returning July 14th to share how the funds will be used in the organization. The Hilton Head Magazine of Hilton Head attended the meeting to capture a picture as well as share their intention to run a story about the group’s impact to the community for the first year.

The nurse retention program focuses on attracting and retaining nurses in Beaufort County and Jasper Counties who graduate from our local nursing schools at TCL and USCB. It is financial aid, post graduation in return for working in our local communities.
